Attempt #1

Attempt #1 with the Mardi Gras images was less than successful-- neither the sealant/glaze used nor the foil around the edges actually wanted to adhere to the plastic.  On a positive note, this at least made them easy to remove and try again.

I'm much happier with how they're turning out the second time around, with a better glaze and old wiring from my house for the edging.

Here are a couple of fun pendants I finished this week.  I think I'm really enamored with the bonjour girl.

Demoiselle Fly

I happened upon these amazing sketches (via the awesome BibliOdyssey) and just knew that they had to find their way into some jewelry.  They're 1873 Mardi Gras costume designs for the Mistick Crewe of Comus.

The glaze is still drying on my first experiment with these images, so I'll post some pictures once they're dry enough to photograph clearly.
